The framers returned on Tuesday and in only 2 days installed the basement columns, the beams, joists and plywood for the ground floor. By Wednesday night you could see the outline of the edge of the building and we could stand on the floor and see what the view will be like. It is even better than we had imagined!
The basement plumbing was completed and inspected and gravel was installed to cover the pipes. Again we had the assistance of the amazing stone slingers to make things easier!
The rainwater collection tank was delivered as well as concrete block for the north wall which will be installed next week. More on the rainwater harvesting system next week.
